The Icon-A5 marks a turning point in sports aviation. The brain child of a former F16 Pilot and a Skate Board designer the Icon-A5 is a Jet-ski for the skies!
Built from strong EPO foam with retracts the Icon-A5 is ready for your local field or lake without the need to change from a landing gear setup to floats. The amphibious Icon-A5 also included a steerable rudder for improved handling on the water, a 3740 400kv Brushless motor, 6 servos (5 x 17g for control surfaces and front retract, 1 x 25g MG servo for the rear retracts) prop and spinner. All that is required is a 60A ESC, battery and your own Transmitter and receiver (Rx/Tx)
The Icon-A5 also includes optional flaps in the wing design making the addition of the extra control surfaces a snap. You will require 2 additional 17g servos for this option.
With a massive cock pit area and pusher prop the Icon-A5 would also make a great FPV aircraft.
