What do you want from it?

Mostly when we think of multirotor, we will say it's a aerial filming platform. YES it is correct. Currently we use it mostly for aerial filming, because in comparison with the “Old” ways of aerial filming, which means to rent a big helicopter or hire a professional filming crew or something, the occurrence of multirotor platform indeed made a huge leap to aerial filming and save a noticeable money. You don't need to be a pro or spending time learning how to fly the aircraft like you used to be, aerial filming is no more a painful job.

What's good about it?

• Main Frame:
The frame is made of fiber glass, strong and stable but economy to maintain/repair. The space for installing your controller and gadgets is actually more than enough, with the XA 650 standard gimbal suspension mount hole below for putting on your camera gimbal.

• Arm:
The arm is made of aluminium, light weight but more practical, it won't easily crack after minor crash, most of the time you can just bend it back and continue your mission when crash. The diameter of the arm is 25mm, enough for putting in 2 ESCs in one boom while using Octo/hexa setting. The Alloy tube also works as a heat sink that can easily release the heat generated, keeping your devices safe and sound in the air.

• Motor Mount:
  The motor mount is Dual-Sided, you can install the motor on either or both side, which will turn your Tri/Quad copter into a Hexa or Octo Copter according to your multitasking purposes.

• Easy to Assemble
  It would take you just less than a hour to assemble your KongCopter, because it is designed to ease your efforts entering to the world of multirotors. Also it's easy to repair and maintain, saving your precious time wondering what to buy and how to do with your multirotors.

  You can easily upgrade your KongCopter to another level by simply replacing the arms to a longer one using our extension upgrade pack.

  What's the difference between KC 550 and 600Y?

  Basically the difference is the number of the motors, as you can easily tell from the appearance. More motors installed means more lift, greater stability and wind resistance, but on the contrast it means it's more power consumed and probably less flight time, depends on actual setting of devices being installed. With single motor setting, the KC 550 will be quadcopter and the 600Y will be a tricopter, you can easily carry a small size camera to the air such as GoPro using the X-Cam camera gimbals. If you need to carry a heavier camera such as DSLR on, you can just convert the KongCopter to a hexacopter or octocopter using the 2 motor setting.
